My Mobile Magazine - An Intro

Recently during a jaunt, I happened to lay my hands on "My Mobile" magazine. This was a November 2010 issue. So, I guess the next issue is already out. Any way, the magazine has a caption "For a connected Lifestyle". It mainly caters to the mobile hoggers nay users in the Indian market. The cover story for the edition was "Safe Phones For a Safer You" which pointed out to some interesting statistics like, 10 million mobiles are sold every month in this country. I learned a few new terms like, SAR - which means "Specific Absorption Rate" and ARPU meaning - Average Revenue Per User. The most interesting part of the magazine for me was "My Guide" section where they had a review of a number of mobiles divided into different categories namely "Enterprise", "High-end", "Mid-level", "Entry-level" and "Sub-entry" level. Now, they reviewed a (hold your breath) whopping 308 models of mobile phones. These contained well-known models and some mobiles were from manufacturers I had never heard of before. I think that its a great guide for some one looking to buy or just has a keen interest in keeping up with the new mobiles coming into the market. Have a good time reading the magazine. Cheers!!!
